Joseph’s oud alongside jazz giant Matt McMahon (piano) Karl Dunnicliff (bass), James Tawadros (Egyptian percussion) and Dimitri Vouros (clarinet) play a breathtaking set of extraordinary music as live takes in the studio- bringing middle eastern and contemporary jazz together seamlessly. Joseph says: “The album title is about the different emotional facets of all humans - wisdom, silliness, sadness, joy and triumph. We all have these ‘qualities’ and in this music, we’re expressing this range of emotions in a way that listeners can interpret in their own way.” Joseph is touring in Australia in May-June to support the release.
